BROKENBOW CAMPGROUND
COVID-19 Response from Broken Bow Campground
This response will be updated regularly with relevant
information for Broken Bow Campground guests.

Broken Bow Campground (BBC) will open June 17, 2020 with respect to the Lac du Flambeau Tribal Government resolution for all businesses within the boundaries of the Reservation to remain closed until June 17, 2020. The campground is spread out with 50 sites on 26 acres and 3,000+ feet of shoreline. BBC is committed to monitoring the COVID-19 virus very closely and keeping up to date with the changing news. The health and safety of our guests will remain our highest priority, and we will continue to adjust and evaluate processes and protocols as needed. Having said this, we remind campers that camping is an at-risk activity for all campgrounds in the state of Wisconsin per Wisconsin Statute 895.52 Recreational activities.

BBC will be following protocols and guidelines issued by national, state, and regional health authorities as well as from various campground associations. All visitors must have a confirmed reservation to enter Broken Bow Campground. Please review the procedures below and review or website for 2020 New Rules for Broken Bow Campground.

Cleaning Procedures

  1. Hard surface sanitizing spray will be applied to all doors, showers, and touch points particularly in our Restroom/Shower areas. There is a one-in and one-out policy for our facilities including family groupings. WE NEED YOUR HELP. Everyone using the toilets, sinks, and showers are asked to wipe down and sanitize these facilities with the bottled spray disinfectant provided after every use. This applies equally to the laundry room, fish cleaning house, playground equipment, docks, boats, and picnic tables at your site when you depart. Please help us keep BBC clean and safe.

  2. A mask or facial covering is required for anyone entering the store/office area. Only one party will be allowed in the store at any time. We will continue to sell firewood, however the store will only have very limited supplies and no ice or live bait. All campers should come prepared.

  3. No garbage or personal effects can be left at your campsite. All garbage must be bagged and tied and brought up to the main dumpster at the store/office. Garbage bags are required and are available at the store/office.

  1. Our beach area will remain open, however, whenever encountering other campers not in your party we ask that you maintain the six (6) feet social distancing.

We count on your respect of our rules and exercising common courtesy for everyone to have an enjoyable camping experience here at Broken Bow Campground.

We look forward to seeing you here at Broken Bow Campground.
Steve and Carolyn LaVake
